I know you have a
desire to stay in God's Word on a regular basis, and you realize
the benefits of doing that. Judi and I have used several Bible
reading plans over the years and know the advantages of having
one. We put this plan together in 1989 for our church using the
best aspects of the various plans we had collected. Well over
100,000 of these plans have been distributed by the church over
the years, and the comments have been really positive as people
have read through their Bibles each year.
The Old Testament readings are arranged
in chronological order as the events actually happened, which
makes it really come alive. The New Testament is included in the
plan every day to remind us of our new covenant relationship with
God and our benefits in Christ.
The gospels are alternated throughout
the year (twice) to keep our focus on Jesus as our example. The
Psalms and Proverbs are sprinkled throughout the year to add a
daily devotional aspect. We suggest that young children could
read just the New Testament chapters. And adults could read through
the Bible in a different translation or study Bible each year.
With just 20 minutes of reading
each day, you can read your entire Bible this year, know
the scriptures better, be a stronger Christian, build your faith,
renew your mind, receive clearer guidance, be encouraged, and
enjoy fellowship with God on a regular basis. We know you will
enjoy your adventure through the Bible this year. The benefits
will be eternal!
Please be patient as
your web browser loads all these tables for your viewing. Thank
you!
